We are excited to announce that Jesse will be shooting a new doc series of short films profiling Minnesotans who are living with the land for director Aleshia Mueller of Reel Nomad Productions. Prinicpal photography will begin in July and run through late autumn of 2010.

DELICIOUS FILMWORKS WILL SCREEN TWO SHORTS @ CINEMA & CIVICS JULY 21ST

We are pleased to announce Cinema & Civics has programmed two of our short films for their outdoor screening series in Steven’s Square in Minneapolis, Wednesday July 21st. They will screen INSALATA CAPRESE starring Matthew Amendt and Valeri Mudek and also the latest slapstick romp collaboration with Wayne Wilson, WILLIE JONES: THE TROUBLE WITH LOVE. This will be a sneak preview of the new Willie Jones film and the third screening of INSALATA CAPRESE locally in the Twin Cities. Kid Dakota will play music at 8pm and the MN Short Film Program will begin at dusk. We hope to see you there!

THANKS FOR A GREAT 2009 FILMANTHROPIST PROJECT SCREENING

For the second year, Delicious Filmworks’ Jesse Roesler organized a project of Minnesota made philanthropic short films. The event was held at the Oak Street Cinema with more than 150 in attendance. 10 films were screened and the top three were awarded nearly $1000 in cash and prizes. INSALATA CAPRESE AT HEARTLAND FILM FESTIVAL

INSALATA CAPRESE has finished its sold out run at the Heartland Film Festival in Indianapolis, Indiana. This was the official world premier of the film after a sneak preview last spring at the Minneapolis Saint Paul International Film Festival. Look for the film at more festivals this winter and a local screening at the Minnewood Film Festival this January.

Delicious Filmworks won its first Regional Emmy Saturday as Jesse Roesler’s short documentary STREET CELLIST won for the category of Advanced Media Community Affairs. Thanks to the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for the honor. This piece was originally commissioned for Paramount Vantage as part of the Real Life series promoting the film THE SOLOIST with Jamie Foxx and Robert Downey Jr.
